We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.

Responsibilities:

Stantec is searching for superior candidates with eight to ten years experience as an Environmental Engineer or Geologist to assist with stream restoration work.  Qualified candidates should possess a degree in Environmental/Civil Engineering or Geology and have experience with stream restoration projects using Natural Channel Design techniques.  Candidates should be able to demonstrate experience in client and project management and have a working knowledge of hydrology, storm water management, water quality issues, and ecology as well as experience in wetland delineation/mitigation design.  The successful applicant should be proficient in ArcView, AutoCAD Civil 3D, and Micro Station and be familiar with the permitting process and environmental regulations.  Rosgen training (Level II or above) and familiarity with the RIVERMorph software is a requirement for this position.  Excellent opportunity to develop your skills as part of a dynamic, multifaceted engineering firm.

Qualifications:

Qualified applicants should possess the following: Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering or Geology, and a minimum of eight years of relevant experience, with five years in stream restoration, geomorphology.
