| Job Description: |
The Coastal Conservation League seeks a self-motivated individual with excellent communication and organizational skills and a strong work ethic to join its Charleston staff as a Project Manager. The successful candidate must be able to manage multiple issues as assigned to address issues of interest to the League. Program emphasis areas include land use and transportation, air and water quality, energy and climate issues and sustainable agriculture. Also the candidate must have the ability to work closely with various staffing levels; be able to collect and analyze data; provide leadership and support grassroots efforts; attend public meetings/hearings to gather information and/or represent the League’s interest; maintain effective working relationships with governmental bodies, sister environmental organizations and foundations; develop and nurture relationships with board members and League donors; perform related duties as assigned by program director, assistant director or executive director. Successful candidate must have a Bachelor’s degree, as well as related work experience required.
