Responsibilities:

We are looking for a highly motivated, well organized, experienced Document Controller.  Primary responsibilities include managing engineering documents (drawings, specifications, etc.) and incoming and outgoing project documentation, coordination with project team members and conducting quality assurance checks to ensure document control procedures are followed as well as various administrative tasks.  This position requires a good understanding of engineering documentation processes and electronic document management systems, strong organizational and problem solving skills, professional attitude, and excellent work ethic.  The position is required for a major infrastructure project working within an integrated Stantec/Client team and from within the client's office. 

 

Qualifications:

Between 1 to 3 years of document/ record management experience and good working knowledge of document management software.  Knowledge and working experience of database systems and working in a project controls team would be an asset.  The position requires excellent computer skills including MS Office 2003 and an ability to work with minimal supervision.  The ability to work in an integrated project team environment along with strong communication skills is a key to ensuring success within the document control role.  Good customer service skills are essential in this role.
