Responsibilities:An opportunity exists in our Ottawa office for a highly motivated Junior/Intermediate Mechanical Engineer or Technician/Technologist, to become part of a dynamic group providing professional services to our clients in the buildings sector. As the successful candidate you will assume the position of Mechanical CAD Designer and be responsible for the design and CAD drafting of projects. Consideration will be given to candidates who have a strong CAD background.
Reporting to the Team Leader, with regards to the technical team’s workflow, the successful candidate will be responsible for:
Training will be provided to advance your skills in areas of detailed design. Qualifications:As the ideal candidate, you have a minimum of 2 to 5 years experience in a mechanical consulting engineering environment. A comprehensive knowledge of AutoCAD is essential. REVIT experience will be considered an asset. Knowledge in construction management, construction contracts, specification writing and report presentation, estimating, building regulations and construction surveying is preferred. |
