Our professionals are specialists in underground mining methods/mine development, complete infrastructure in support of underground operations, process and materials handling, electrical power and instrumentation, controls and automation, mine ventilation, mine headframes and hoisting systems. Responsibilities:

Working in our Saskatoon office, you will assume the role of Mining Engineer. Working within a dynamic team of technologists and engineers, you will lend your underground mining expertise and experience to studies ranging from conceptual to full feasibility as well as support to new mining projects in the execution phase. Specific duties may be assigned with regard to your strengths and experience (as well as the talents of the other team members) but will generally include:

• Mine design

• Report Preparation

• Estimating and Scheduling

• Financial Analysis

Qualifications:

• As the ideal candidate you possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering from an accredited university and have 5+ years of experience at underground mine operations or underground mine development/production projects .
• Being a licensed Professional Engineer is an asset.
• Familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations is required.
• A working knowledge of AutoCAD / mining related CAD software would be an asset.
• You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere.
• Problem solving and decision making skills are essential.
• You have a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
