The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career. Responsibilities:Working often from our Client site, you will assume the role of Senior Project Manager. Leading a dynamic team of technologists and engineers, you are responsible for the successful execution of large engineering/construction projects, including development of the work plan, coordination of the work between multiple offices/groups, client and stakeholder liaison, and leadership of the project team. Our typical projects develop from mining studies. Leading on site involves coordination of the detailed design, support of the tendering process, and construction of mine and infrastructure facilities using on-site, site driven construction management techniques (EPCM). Qualifications:As the ideal candidate you have 10+ years of experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. You have a proven track record of delivering large engineering projects safely, on time and within budget. Experience working within an EPCM (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management) environment on heavy industrial and/or mining projects is considered a strong asset. Educational pursuit of Project Management Professional (PMP) status would be an asset. You are familiar with a variety of computer software to effectively manage projects.
Experience in underground mining and familiarity with relevant Mine Health and Safety Regulations are also required. You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere. Travel is required. A high degree of job knowledge, leadership, teamwork, problem solving, and decision making skills are essential.
