Overview: With the understanding that effective management of our water resources is critical to public health, economic development, and the long-term health of the environment, our Water group is focused on delivering and managing sustainable water and wastewater solutions. Our team members are passionate about resource renewal and sustainability, and apply both knowledge and technology to deliver life cycle solutions for both public and private sector clients. We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage. Responsibilities:Position requires the ability to handle significant project responsibilities, client and government agency coordination, and to effectively work with other Stantec team members. Responsibilities include the design and preparation of open channel, storm drain and other flood control facility construction documents. Other responsibilities include the preparation of storm water drainage master plans, FEMA CLOMR and LOMR documents, and technical report writing. Strong skills in hydrologic and hydraulic modeling are required (this includes HEC-HMS, HEC-RAS, and FLO-2D). Skills in using GIS is a plus. Although the position is based in Phoenix, there may be opportunities to work on projects throughout North America if you choose. Qualifications:
