Fresh Energy is seeking an exceptional individual for a key role in this dynamic, fast-growing nonprofit. We’re the region’s only policy advocacy organization focused solely on energy. The laws and regulations we champion are vital steps toward an energy system that supports thriving economies, vibrant communities, a healthy planet, and energy independence. This newly created position will be a key team member in our RE-AMP Media Center. The Media Center is a new media venture that provides training and strategy as well as original and aggregated content in support of the RE-AMP collaborative network of over 100 organizations working to change energy policy in the Upper Midwest. This position manages the collaboration’s extensive web site including content and social media strategies, technical feature sets, and vendors. The position also assists in organizing training events and provides support to the editor of Midwest Energy News, our online news site. Fresh Energy provides a competitive salary and excellent benefits. Minimum job qualifications: Bachelor’s degree plus two years of experience in a relevant area such as policy advocacy, online communications, website administration, or social media. High degree of fluency with online practices and technologies. Directly related work experience may be substituted for a portion of the education requirement. Excellent writing and communication skills. To apply: E-mail cover letter and resume to Ken Paulman at paulman@fresh-energy.org. No phone calls, please. |
