Maryland Environmental Service has a vacancy for an Environmental Specialist I located in the Millersville, MD headquarters. Primary responsibilities include groundwater sampling, stormwater sampling, gas monitoring, database management, statistical analysis of data, compliance inspections, and reporting. The position will require the candidate to work in the field approximately 75% of the time. Minimum qualifications include a Bachelor's degree in environmental science or related field, valid drivers license with less than 5 points, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and the ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing. *This position may require the ability to obtain Security Clearance. |
