Green For All is a national organization dedicated to building an inclusive green economy strong enough to lift people out of poverty. Green for All advocates for local, state and federal policies and funding for quality job creation, training, and entrepreneurial opportunities in the emerging green economy. Green for All is developing a national network to engage people from every sector of society in (1) collaborating to build a green economy that works for all by sharing innovation, best practices, and relationships to (2) advance major policy initiatives that fight both poverty and pollution at the same time. Position Summary: Successful candidates will be values driven, self-motivated, detail oriented, resourceful, and have experience in communications, politics, advocacy and organizing. They will be able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment that requires adaptability to shifting priorities, a keen sense of urgency, and a commitment to excellence. Responsibilities: Develop, articulate, and oversee implementation of a strategic plan for Communications Content Development Design, plan and execute Green for All's brand and messaging. Media Relations Forge meaningful partnerships with a wide range of local and national media; build increasing coverage of Green For All. Marketing Develop compelling marketing strategy, media channels and marketing collateral to engage activists, policy makers, practitioners, business, labor leaders, community leaders, community groups and the general public in Green For All's mission. Management and Cross-Functional Collaboration Develop and manage marketing budget, including collateral development, outreach and promotion, staff and operations; ensure most effective use of resources.
Qualifications: A Bachelor's degree from a four-year university with a degree in communications, public relations, energy, environment, public policy, economics, urban planning, labor relations, or a related field. Start Date: As soon as possible. Compensation: Full-time, commensurate with experience, excellent benefits package.
