Working closely with our clients, our dedicated professionals help to establish and understand the specific needs of a range of building projects. Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a Buildings Mechanical Engineer interested in joining our Mechanical Engineering group in our 50 year old Kamloops practice. The right candidate will have a well rounded combination of technical skills in designing HVAC, plumbing systems and fire protection in such diverse projects as healthcare facilities, civic buildings, and specialty facilities.  

 

This is an opportunity to work with a growing, multi-disciplinary practice in both public and private projects.  You can be a real contributor in this group with your technical expertise and mentoring abilities that you would bring to the other technical staff on the team.  This is your place to make a difference!

 

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will possess:

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of mechanical HVAC, plumbing and fire protection experience in design and project management
  • Engineering consulting experience is strongly preferred
  • A “team player” approach to your work and problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, prior experience writing proposals and technical reports
  • Interest /experience in the application of green engineering principles; LEED certification is an asset
  • P.Eng. or immediate eligibility for registration with APEGBC required
