JDM Associates – an energy management and sustainability consulting firm specializing in real estate, located in Falls Church, VA – is seeking several highly-motivated, team-oriented professionals to provide sustainability and energy efficiency consulting services to commercial building owners and operators. JDM consultants review our clients’ properties, including office buildings and multifamily communities, to identify opportunities for enhancing sustainability and reducing natural resource consumption. Consultants then support clients to implement recommended improvements and analyze the results in terms of cost savings, energy use reductions, and other metrics. In addition to the responsibilities and requirements detailed above, more specific information about individual positions is as follows: Engineering Consultant: The Engineering Consultant will perform many of the duties of the Property Consultant described above, but will provide specialized technical expertise in building systems and operations to support other Property Consultants and Senior Consultants. Professional Engineer, Certified Energy Manager, and/or Certified Commissioning Agent designations are a plus for this position. Experience with large HVAC systems and ASHRAE Level I energy audits is required. The Engineering Consultant will:
