The ongoing success of our team allows you to set the pace of your career Responsibilities:Working in our Sudbury office, you will provide project control/cost control support to the project team/project manager as a Project Services Specialist. As part of the integrated project team this position is responsible for: 1. Setting up control budgets and control schedules within the Controls Reporting System; 2. Creating and coordinating budget controls, including the overall project change management system and procedures; 3. Creating and coordinating the project cost control processes and procedures; 4. Generating all weekly and monthly financial reporting; 5. Forecasting appropriately and proactively; Qualifications:As the ideal candidate you will have related post-secondary education with five to ten years relevant project controls experience. You will possess a strong working knowledge of project control functions including financial/project accounting. You are extremely competent with a variety of computer software, specifically Excel. Experience using project management software would be a definite asset.
A high degree of problem solving and decision making skills are essential. Requirements include the ability to successfully multi-task and prioritize in an environment with frequent interruptions, as well as the ability to handle pressure when tight deadlines need to be met.
