Responsibilities:

Stantec is a multi-disciplinary design firm with offices in North America and Canada and is seeking a Plumbing Designer for it's Butler, Pennsylvania office.   Collaboration is key among our talented group of architects, engineers, and interior designers and we work together to create innovative and integrated solutions for a wide range of project types and clients.   Stantec is looking for an individual who wants to work on industry leading projects that are challenging, rewarding, take on high levels of design responsibility, and are committed to an excellent level of quality. 

  • Preparation of plumbing:
    • Design Narratives
    • Calculations
    • Specifications
  • Preparation of Microstation and / or AutoCadd plumbing:
    • Floor plans
    • Isometrics
    • Details
    • Schedules.
  • Construction Administration
    • Providing responses to RFIs
    • Reviewing shop drawing submittals
    • Construction visits and preparation of field reports and punch lists

 

 

 

Qualifications:

Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years plus healthcare and / or laboratory plumbing design experience and a Certified Plumbing Design (CPD) credential. 

  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of plumbing codes and requirements.
  • Detail oriented with effective communication skills
  • Self motivated and capable of working as part of a collaborative group
  • Proficiency with Revit MEP is beneficial.
