We have immediate opportunities for an Environmental Site Assessor to join our Environmental team in Yellowknife. Our team members work on a variety of projects, including environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, Phase I, II, and III environmental site assessments and complex Brownfield redevelopment projects. We are seeking exceptionally talented and enthusiastic individuals with a keen interest in the environment to join our team and advance their career.

Responsibilities:

As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will be involved in a broad range of responsibilities including: 

  • Manage and work directly on environmental site assessment (Phase I/II) and remediation projects
  • Execute field programs with site visits, test pitting, borehole drilling, monitoring well installation, soil vapor surveys, soil and groundwater remediation monitoring and surveying; and
  • Carry-out office duties such as data collection, data management, analysis and interpretation, report preparation, proposal preparation, and other general tasks.
  • Manage clients in various sectors, ranging from oil and gas to government, insurance and commercial real estate.
Qualifications:

The ideal candidate will possess the following:

  • Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology,  Environmental Engineering or other related degree program OR relevant technologist diploma program graduate
  • Experience in site assessment is preferred but we will consider recent graduates
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the various provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong critical thinking skills
