The web programmer will develop and program AMC's web sites in a dynamic and progressive environment. This position works closely with the Web & E-communications Director under the supervision of the IT Director to develop and maintain the Club's websites. The individual will be help guide and implement Web and internet technologies development and deployment. The programmer will work with general content, dynamic content, forms, e-commerce, multimedia, social media and relational databases using both custom designed code and off-the-shelf products. This is a full time, year round, exempt salaried position. Responsibilities Developing client and server-side custom applications and tools for our websites. Creating, updating, and maintaining our websites. Undertaking analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, support and documentation of Web-based interactive applications and services. Implementing off-the-shelf internet and web software. Keeping up with, evaluating, and learning, when required, the latest technology. Assist in preparing and maintaining project plans. Managing user access rights and system security levels. Monitoring, improving, and fine-tuning Web performance (responsiveness and throughput). Providing staff and end-user support related to our websites. Training staff on use of Web applications. Maintaining complete, clear, up-to-date documentation. Employment Qualifications Three to five years of experience successfully developing and programming websites. Two to three years of ColdFusion experience. Knowledge of other web programming languages such as ASP .Net, Java, Perl, PHP a plus. Knowledge and experience with some of the following: HTML, DHTML, XML/XSL, CSS, Flash, Javascript, and/or Ajax. Familiarity with Fusebox and jQuery. Knowledge of SQL including Microsoft SQL or MySQL. Experience with web server applications including IIS and Apache. Knowledge of Web 2.0 technologies. Knowledge and experience with IP, browser dependencies, and firewall security issues. Experience in graphics, layout, and design for Web-based products. Experience with mobile apps a plus. Experience with social media/networking. Knowledge of PC and Macintosh desktop environments. Experience with troubleshooting code and website problems quickly and accurately. Ability to prioritize conflicting task and user requirements. Excellent communication written, oral, analytical, technical, and organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines. Must be a hard working, highly motivated, detail-oriented and creative individual. BS in computer science or other related area. Physical abilities required: Must be able to stand, sit, walk, climb stairs and operate standard office equipment. Must be able to lift 30 pounds from floor to waist high occasionally.
