We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our Calgary, AB Office is seeking a full-time Intermediate Environmental Field Technologist to join our team.

Responsibilities:

Typical field tasks may include, but not be limited to,

  • Subsurface investigations
  • Monitoring well installation
  • Soil and groundwater sampling
  • Site remediation monitoring
Qualifications:

The qualified candidate will possess:

  • Diploma in Environmental Technology
  • Have the ability to work well in a team environment
  • Three to five years experience in contaminated site investigation, including field methods for characterization of soil and groundwater conditions and/or contamination (borehole drilling, monitoring well design/installation, and multimedia sampling methodologies) and ex situ and in situ remedial techniques
  • Experience with writing field instructions, organizing and arranging field work, and supervising contractors
  • Candidates must be service-oriented, possess the ability to multi-task, be self-motivated, possess above average written and verbal communication skills and be comfortable providing technical direction and mentorship to junior team members
  • Ability to travel, generally within Alberta
