Our Environmental Management practice is dedicated to managing environmental issues proactively, and with close attention to the expectations of both clients and regulators. Team members have the opportunity to be involved in a variety of projects that may include endangered species assessments, habitat restoration, wetland characterizations, hydrologic assessments, or complex State and/or Federal licensing processes. We focus on hiring exceptionally talented, enthusiastic, and driven individuals that have a keen interest in the natural sciences and have the demonstrated willingness and ability to work in a team-based environment. Responsibilities:Stantec’s New England region Environmental Management practice seeks a Project Coordinator who will provide support to the ecological and restoration services groups. The Project Coordinator’s primary responsibilities are the following:
• Preparing and/or editing proposals, reports, and permit application materials. • Compiling report and/or application materials for submission. • Maintaining project files, including organization of project communications, deliverables and data. • Maintaining project and staff schedules. • Tracking and logging project deliverables. Qualifications:Required: • Four year degree. • At least two years of professional experience writing and/or editing technical reports. • Proficiency with Microsoft products and Adobe Acrobat. • Ability to multi-task, work in a fast-paced environment, and handle numerous writing projects simultaneously in a rapidly changing environment. • Experience with file structure creation and maintenance. • Strong work ethic, sense of humor, and desire for team success.
Desired: • Four year degree specializing in biology, natural resource management, land use planning, or environmental policy. • Project management exposure. |
