Clean Water Action has more than 250,000 members in Michigan and a national network of campaign organizers, local groups and allied organizations who are working to build power for the environment! We have a 40-year track record of organizing successful campaigns to elect pro-environment candidates and to win on key issues affecting people, water, waste, toxins and other environmental and public health issues. Our core mission is to promote environmental action at the grassroots community level-to make peoples' voices heard in Michigan. We are hiring people to work as Community Organizers - working with neighborhoods and communities to organize and increase public awareness of local, state and national environmental issues. The focus of our work is to: Hours are Monday through Friday 2:00 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. We look for candidates who posess strong communication skills and good attention to detail. We also look for people who are interested in working to protect the environment.
