Responsibilities:

 

Our Kamloops office is currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Engineer with an excellent track record – technically, and in project delivery and implementation.  As a seasoned professional in your field, you will have considerable experience in HVAC, plumbing systems and fire protection in such diverse projects as healthcare facilities, civic buildings, and specialty facilities.  The ideal candidate should also have consulting environment experience, excellent client relationship skills and very good mechanical design abilities.

 

Qualifications:

 

This position works with a multidisciplinary team in a collaborative environment and will be responsible for design, coordination and delivery of a variety of projects types.

 

The successful candidate will possess:

 

  • B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of 5 years of mechanical HVAC, plumbing and fire protection experience in design, project management and client relations
  • A “team player” approach to your work and problem solving
  • Well developed oral and written communication skills required for the preparation of technical reports and proposals
  • Interest/experience in the application of green engineering principles; LEED certification is an asset
  • P.Eng. or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer with APEGBC, within one year
