We are seeking a Survey Technician for the Reno, NV office. Responsibilities:Working independently and as part of a team, you will utilize CAD and other software tools to support surveying and mapping activities for boundary surveys, topographic mapping and construction staking projects. Maps, legal descriptions and exhibits will be prepared under the supervision of a license Professional Land Surveyor and often in coordination with engineering design staff.. Field crew support will include preparing instructions and support information, as well as reviewing field notes and staking information for completeness and clarity. You will also assist with preparing scope and budget for new project pursuits. While some field work will be required occasionally, this is primarily an office-based position. Qualifications:• Minimum 5 years work experience is required in surveying and mapping activities under a licensed surveyor, or 2 years of applicable schooling and 3 years work experience • Strong experience in AutoCAD is required and Civil3D experience is desired • Familiarity with ArcGIS is desired. • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word and Outlook is desired. • Experience with GPS processing is a plus.
