We collaborate on developing innovative solutions for complex projects in the areas of advanced water and wastewater process design, water supply, conveyance, pumping, and storage.

Responsibilities:

Our Red Deer office is currently seeking a Senior Hydrogeologist. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Assisting in water resources management and development including
    • Hydrogeologic and geochemical evaluation of groundwater resources.
  • Design and conduct environmental assessments including
    • Drilling and soil sampling programs,
    • Surface and borehole geophysics,
    • Conducting groundwater monitoring and sampling,
    • Performing slug and pumping tests,
    • Interpreting analytical laboratory results,
    • Analyzing and interpreting the collected environmental data and writing reports,
    • Assisting with the design and implementation of remediation systems.
Qualifications:
  • Masters of Science degree in Geology or Geological Engineering is preferred
  • Minimum 5 years experience as a hydrogeologist
  • Training in contaminant and physical hydrogeology
  • Experience with groundwater modeling, water supply analysis, environmental site assessments, site remediation, and groundwater monitoring.
  • Registration as a P.Geol or eligibility for registration with APEGGA.
  • Strong communication skills both written and verbal.
