Responsibilities:

Working in our Saskatoon, Saskatchewan office, you will assume the role of Mine Planner. Working within a dynamic team of technologists and engineers and starting with the client’s geological model you will prepare 2D and 3D underground mine design layouts at various levels of detail. You will provide support to mine feasibility studies and design projects involving mine access, mining methods selection, and materials handling systems, as well as potential site operation support for various client operations.

Qualifications:

As the ideal candidate you are a Mining Technician or Technologist graduate from an accredited college and have 5+ years of experience in mine design. Experience in underground mining and familiarity with Mine Health and Safety Regulations are also required, as well as excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and other mining software programs. You possess strong communication skills, both written and verbal, along with excellent interpersonal abilities and willingness to work in a team atmosphere. Problem solving and decision making skills are essential. You have a commitment to thrive in a proactive organization where client service is second to none.
