Responsibilities:

Our office in Dartmouth, NS, office is seeking an intermidiate civil engineer to manage civil engineering projects, prepare design plans, construction documents, estimates and construction inspections for projects ranging from linear infrastructure to site grading and drainage. Responsibilities also include Autodesk Civil 3D design, site planning, roadway alignment and utility systems design.

Qualifications:

Candidate must have B.S in Civil Engineering with progressive experience or strong interest in project management, site planning, drainage and lineal infrastructure design for transportation, DND, industrial, commercial and residential projects are required.  Qualified candidates must be registered, or eligible for registration, as a Professional Civil Engineer within the province(s) of Nova Scotia or Newfoundland and Labrador. Have knowledge in project management, wastewater / water treatment, site planning and drainage design, coordination of existing utilities, roadway, alignment, grading and be proficient in using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D, Word and Excel.

Candidate must demonstrate Team leadership, shows initiative, excellent communication skills, willing to be flexable in a dynamic multi discipline setting
