Responsibilities:

Our office in Dartmouth, NS is seeking an Intermediate Civil Engineering Technologist to participate in the drafting and technical design of civil engineering projects, prepare design plans, construction documents, estimates and construction inspections for projects ranging from linear infrastructure to site grading and drainage. Responsibilities also include Autodesk Civil 3D design, wastewater / water treatment design, site planning, roadway alignment and utility systems design.

Qualifications:

Qualified candidates will have:

  • A two year diploma in Civil Engineering Technology with progressive experience or strong interest in wastewater / water treatment, site planning, drainage and lineal infrastructure design for transportation, DND, industrial, commercial and residential projects.
  • At least 4 years experience in wastewater / water treatment, site planning and drainage design, coordination of existing utilities, roadway, alignment, grading.
  • Proficiency in using AutoCAD and Autodesk Civil 3D, Word and Excel.
  • The successful candidate must be a team player, show initiative, have excellent communication skills, and be willing to be flexible in a dynamic multi discipline setting.
