| Job Description: |
The Missouri Coalition for the Environment is seeking a Membership and Outreach Coordinator to engage volunteers, develop effective special events and membership campaigns, and assist with electronic and printed communication activities to strengthen member relations, recruitment, and retention. The ideal candidate will have 1 to 4 years of experience in project management and evaluation, event planning, volunteer management, and public/member relations. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree or comparable experience. Candidates must have excellent communication skills, proven organizational skills, be effective facilitators and team players and also able to work independently. Experience with MS Office, graphic design/layout software, and websites required. Experience with nonprofit advocacy is preferred. Salary is dependent on experience. Ability to travel required.
