Job Objective:

We are currently looking for a self motivated Solar Project Manager to join our team. The Solar Project Manager will be responsible for leadership of development, and execution of utility scale and commercial grid-tied solar PV electric systems. The Solar Project Manager must possess strong project management skills and solar electrical experience is preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide pre-sales support to evaluate project feasibility and support sales efforts and project bids.
  • Manage large scale solar electric system construction meeting all national/state/local codes and customer defined requirements.
  • Identify, prioritize, schedule project initiatives; drive execution of activities.
  • Coordinate bidsand supplier recommendations.
  • Validate required technical documents (electrical, structural, site plan drawings and related documents)
  • Identify, evaluate, and direct the activities of project specific sub-contractors and consultants.
  • Provide technical input and establish procedures forpermitting andconstruction requirements.
  • Evaluate project results and performance to implement internal continuous improvement measures.
  • Prepareweekly reports and timely written communication on projects andactivities.
  • Provide leadership of project planning and oversee execution of multiple projects in various locations.

 

Salary and Benefits:

The Solar Project Manager is a full-time position. Salary depends upon experience.  Strong preference for solar PV construction project management experience.  The company offers a benefits package including bonus pool participation, medical, dental, paid holidays, and vacation.
