Job Description:    Overview:

Our Resources group provides client-focused solutions in planning, implementing, and maintaining plants and facilities within the heavy industrial market. We specialize in sophisticated process engineering and simulation, materials handling, electrical and instrumentation, rotating equipment, equipment specification, controls and automation, finite element and stress analyses for piping and structural systems, HAZOPs, and risk review of plant designs. Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opportunity in our Edmonton office for a Process Engineer.

Responsibilities include:


• Assisting in business development initiatives and obtaining new clients in the Resources sector
• Maintaining strong relationships with existing clients
• Project execution - delivering on time, within budget and to the required quality.
• Providing technical support to other engineering disciplines and junior team members



Qualifications:

Your skills and experience include:

  • Registered as a Professional Engineer with The Association of Professional Engineers, Geologists and Geophysicists of Alberta (APEGGA)
  • 5+ years of proven industrial process engineering experience
  • A degree from a recognized chemical engineering program
  • Established contacts in the Resources sector
  • Experience in developing and managing multi-discipline project budgets and schedules
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong overall technical expertise, including proficiency with using industry recognized simulation tools (e.g., HYSIS, ACX/STX, Fathom/Impulse, etc.)
  • Background in designing refining and/or upgrading processes (hydrotreaters, CDU, VDU, delayed coking, FCC, SAG-D and/or sulfur recovery processes)
