Stantec Consulting Services, Inc (Stantec) is currently seeking an entry level Civil or Structural Engineer that has passed the Engineering Intern (EI) exam or has obtained their PE License in Colorado to work as part of our Bridge Inspection Unit based in Denver, Colorado. This position will entail inspection and load ratings of both bridges and culverts throughout Colorado and the United States per the National Bridge Inventory (NBI) and Pontis.
Responsibilities: Our chosen candidate will be responsible for assisting our Bridge Inspection Unit during on-site structure inspections and for the entry of data, development of drawings utilizing CAD, assisting with the organization and scheduling of structural inspections and/or the load rating of existing structures and design of new bridges. Qualifications: The chosen candidate must work well in a group setting and be able to travel approximately 2 or more weeks each month. Knowledge of roped climbing methods and/or the desire to be trained in the utilization of industrial roped assess methods is a plus. All personal protective equipment, materials and additional training (if needed) shall be provided by Stantec. Candidate must have proof of a valid and unrestricted driver’s license. |
