Restoration/Geomorphology/Hydrology/Hydraulics
BHE Environmental, Inc., an interdisciplinary consulting firm, has an opening in our Cincinnati, Ohio, office for a professional experienced in the assessment, protection, and restoration of water resources.
In this position, you will use your skills in watershed and stormwater management, geomorphic and biologic field assessments, hydrology and hydraulics, sediment transport modeling, channel stabilization, habitat restoration design, biotechnical engineering design, and environmental documentation in support of client needs. The position involves a mix of field work, data analysis, report writing, client contact, and agency coordination. Additional responsibilities and opportunities for advancement are available.
This position requires demonstrated training and experience in the skills outlined above. Effective written and oral communication skills are mandatory for success.
A Masters degree, prior consulting experience, and demonstrated computer skills (advanced word-processing, data management and analysis, GIS) are preferred. Project and regulatory experience in the Southeast and Midwest United States is preferred.
