Compensation: $200/week stipend, housing when on Sanibel, $400 travel stipend Bachelor's degree in biology, wildlife biology or related field Experience with Microsoft Office Suite We are seeking two interns to assist in the collection of wildlife data specifically on shorebirds, freshwater turtles, and snakes on Sanibel Island. Preference will be given to individuals with prior experience nest searching & brood monitoring for shorebirds. Interns will be responsible for care of nature center live animal exhibits, as well as a weekly environmental program on Snowy Plovers. Work will be 5-6 days per week starting early in the morning and potentially continuing into the evening. Weekend work may be required.
