This individual will research, develop, evaluate, and present competitive/market opportunities synchronous with SEF mission and make recommendations to the Director of Technical Services.They will also advise the Director of Technical Services on key planning issues, strategies and opportunities, as well as prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports outlining mission accomplishments with respect to financial contributions, disbursements and energy related metrics developed in each project. The role of Project Related Investment Analyst is to Process applications and inquiries for prospective leases, loans and investments. Work with Director of Technical Services in the financial modeling of each PRI transaction as well as in the due diligence process. Evaluate proposed program related investments as to fit within mission and fund objectives and determine if goals and objectives are measurable and achievable. Perform sufficient due diligence and analysis to determine feasibility of appropriate financial vehicle for each project and if appropriate, the ability for a rational return to the fund in the form of loan repayment dividends, or other value added propositions. This activity includes meeting prospects, key management team, and supporting personnel such as accountants, principals, and other investors and consultants in obtaining credit information, financial reports and professional references. Work with outside counsel and prepare loan and investment documentation as well as term sheets, amortization schedules, and all necessary documentation that comply with fund standards and complete all legal agreements that reflect those offerings. Update and maintain credit files and grant files and report status of each of the open and closed projects. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in a business or finance field. Experience in financial, accounting, and banking. Experience in energy/environmental industry preferred. Exceptional writer and communicator capable of successfully building relationships, negotiating, and collaborating with diverse audiences. Strong leadership abilities, with sound business judgment. Creative, strategic, and analytical thinker, with strong detail orientation. Be able to manage multiple projects through to completion, often under tight deadlines and with minimal supervision. Resourceful, highly motivated self-starter who can thrive in a "lean" organization, taking initiative to maximize available resources and opportunities.
