Job Description: 

Conservation Begins Here.
The Student Conservation Association (SCA), a national force of conservation volunteers, seeks an Alaska Regional Partnership Coordinator located near Anchorage.

Primary Responsibilities:

Conduct agency outreach and engagement activities
Sell SCA interns, corps, national high school and local community crews to federal, state, tribal and non-profit agencies
Support the development of Alaska partnership and business initiatives to elevate, enhance and expand SCA's role in the state
Work closely with the Associate Vice President to develop strategic partner relationships in support of SCA's Alaska office and organizational objectives
Qualifications:

BA/BS degree in natural resource management, public administration or similar environmental studies degree with applied study in park, public lands or the environment
Minimum 5 years of relevant natural resource or public lands program experience, government employment, or professional conservation service experience with a Non Government Organization
Experience and skill working with mid- to senior-level public lands agency staff to develop stewardship plans, partnerships and/or programs
Demonstrated sales and customer service experience
Public speaking and presentation experience
Strong working knowledge of MSOffice (Excel and Outlook in particular) as well as database management skills required
Ability to work independently
Valid driver's license with Motor Vehicle Record that meets SCA standards
Willingness to travel 2-3 times per month for multiple days
