Overview: Our Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities: Transportation Project Engineer will work with other engineers, designers and cad technicians in the design of roadway and bridge projects. Experience in working with the West Virginia Division of Highways and the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation / Pennsylvania Turnpike Commission is mandatory. Additional experience in urban land engineering, hydrology and hydraulics, structural engineering, permitting, natural stream design / stream bank stabilization, and/or mining will be beneficial. Duties include design layouts, holding meetings and documentation, design coordination with state and municipality staff, quality control, preparing plans, specifications, and estimates along with other responsibilities. Qualifications: Requiring 6 or more years of engineering experience. Must have a West Virginia PE or the ability to acquire within 6 months. Preference will be given to candidates that are familiar with Inroads. |
