Stantec's Environmental Remediation group is dedicated to helping our clients reduce their environmental liabilities by developing comprehensive remediation programs. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions to site management, remediation and mitigation. Our team member work on a variety of projects, including environmental monitoring, in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation, human health & ecological risk assessments, air quality permitting and reporting, pipeline compliance, stormwater permitting and planning, and audit support services. Responsibilities:

We have an immediate opportunities for Senior Environmental Project Managers to join our dynamic Environmental Remediation team in Calgary, Alberta. As a key member of the team, the successful candidate will have a broad range of responsibilities:

  • Provide senior guidance and review on project deliverables
  • Manage clients in various sectors, ranging from oil and gas to government, insurance and commercial real estate
  • Provide staff mentorship and training
  • Work with senior management to determine the future direction of the practice
Qualifications:
  • Degree (Masters degree preferred) in Environmental Science, Geology, Hydrogeology or Engineering
  • Ten years of related experience
  • Eligibility for professional registration with APEGGA or equivalent professional associations
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal, communication and critical thinking skills
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the various provincial and federal environmental regulations and guidelines
