Job Description: 

Clean Wisconsin is seeking a part-time administrative assistant to work with the RE-AMP Coordinator to oversee operations of a network of nonprofits and foundations in the Midwest working on global warming advocacy. Primary duties of this position include database management, communications with member organizations, and providing clerical and administrative support to the RE-AMP Coordinator.

RE-AMP is an eight-state network of nonprofits and foundations (now over 120 organizations) in the Midwest working on global warming advocacy. The network maintains an infrastructure to support networking, fundraising, and direct support of member organizations' program work related to clean energy, energy efficiency, transportation, global warming policy and coal plant fights. The network is overseen by an 11-member elected steering committee, which also manages a $3.5 million/year grants program.

Core responsibilities of this position include:

* Maintaining a grants database that tracks grants made by the steering committee
* Preparing invoices
* Using the RE-AMP website to manage listserv membership, post items, and find information
* Scheduling meetings
* Working with the RE-AMP Coordinator and other RE-AMP staff to provide logistical support for the in-person Annual Meeting
* Arranging logistics of in-person Steering Committee meetings (2-3 each year)
* Maintaining electronic files
* Regularly communicating with member organization staff
* Other clerical and administrative tasks as needed.

Requirements:
The successful candidate will have the ability to work independently, excel at written communications and have strong organizational skills. Must be familiar with Microsoft Outlook and Excel. Experience working in a professional environment required. Interest in environmental issues preferred. Flexible schedule, 10-15 hours per week.
