The League of Conservation Voters (LCV) Action Fund works to turn environmental values into national priorities. To secure the environmental future of our planet, LCV Action Fund's mission is to elect pro-conservation candidates who will adopt and implement sound environmental policies.
To further our goal of electing a pro-environment Congress, the LCV Action Fund Eagles program hires and places campaign staff in top-tier House and Senate races. LCV Action Fund Eagles are supervised and managed by candidate campaign staff, and will have regular check-ins with LCV Action Fund national staff.
LCV Action Fund Eagles are temporary contract positions.
Responsibilities: • Represent LCV Action Fund within the campaign, furthering the relationship between LCV Action Fund and the candidate. • Fulfill campaign-assigned duties, which may include field organizing, building online media, fundraising, press or a variety of other tasks.
Qualifications: • Positive attitude, strong organizational and interpersonal skills, flexibility, and ability to work the hours required to get the job done. • Proven commitment to clean energy, climate, and environmental issues. • 1-2 cycles campaign work or equivalent organizing or political experience. • Reliable transportation and ability to re-locate quickly.
