Our team of professionals is experienced in environmental health and safety assessments and monitoring; hydrogeological and soil investigations; comprehensive in-situ/ex-situ remedial design and implementation; human health and ecological risk assessments; air quality permitting and reporting; pipeline compliance; stormwater permitting and planning; corrective maintenance, monitoring, closure, and decommissioning activities; and audit support services.

Responsibilities:

This position is for a staff level geoscientist, engineer, or environmental scientist.  Candidate will be responsible for a variety of field and office-related tasks.  Field tasks will include logging of soil borings and test pits, monitoring well installations, soil sampling, groundwater sampling, aquifer testing and the supervision of subcontractors (drilling, surveying, remediation, geophysical, etc.).  Office-related tasks will include preparation of health & safety plans, field sampling plans and remedial action plans, assisting with data reduction, data tabulation, data evaluation and report preparation.  The position will require supporting field projects primarily in northern California, but travel to other states may be required periodically.



Qualifications:

The candidate should have a bachelor of science (B.S.) degree in the geologic sciences, engineering or a related environmental field and be OSHA 40-hour trained.  The candidate will have between 1 and 3 years of professional experience in environmental consulting.  The candidate will have a valid US drivers license and will be proficient in commonly used software (e.g., Word, Excel, etc.).  Experience with commercially available software for data analysis a plus (e.g., aquifer test, statistics, fate and transport models).
