The Information Services Manager is primarily responsible for managing The Learning Center and the Conservation Defense Clearinghouse, two important Web resources for the land trust community. The Information Services Manager is also responsible for managing the Alliance publications updates, production, and marketing processes; participating in outreach activities for all information resources; managing the organization's responses to information requests; leading the implementation of the National Land Trust Census and other surveys; and other duties as assigned. Priority clients include national and field-based Alliance staff and the staff and volunteers of Member organizations and Partners. Other Information Services clients include conservation professionals and organizations involved in land conservation, and the general public.
Specific Responsibilities: * Create, collect, organize and maintain information resources on The Learning Center and the Conservation Defense Clearinghouse as premiere Web portals to respond to the growing number of information requests from land trusts and others
Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in natural resources, conservation, communications or related field and/or a Master's in library/information science or three- to five-years experience in data management or equivalent
