Job Description: 

The Building Analyst QA/QC Specialist reports directly to the Energy Efficiency Programs Manager of CNT Energy. The position will work closely with CNT Energy's Director of Research, CNT Energy's Construction Manager as well as other staff.

Responsibilities
Conduct on-site technical assessments (energy audits), including diagnostic testing
Write energy audit reports according to program guidelines,
Assist in analysis of utility data sets
Assist in developing Building and Energy Usage Databases
Work closely with the CNT Energy's Director of Research on various ongoing energy efficiency research initiatives
Assist Program Manager in tracking project deadlines.
Employ QA/QC procedures to ensure quality audits, data analysis and reports.
Assist Program Manager in project planning and projections
Assist in refining and organizing project documentation and procedures
Provide technical consulting to project participants, i.e. property owners, property managers, developers and other project partners
Work with project partners to put together energy loan packages.
Communicate effectively with Owners, Contractors, CNT staff and other project partners.
Contribute to efforts related to outreach strategies and recruitment of property owners
Contribute to other CNT Energy Efforts as required
Contribute to creative problem solving approaches and be vital member of team
Contribute to program wide development, communication and administering CNT-wide policies, procedures and standards
Qualifications/Skills
Self starter with excellent organizational and quality assurance skills.
Dedication to program goals and to providing service to customers
Knowledge of, and experience in, construction management, energy efficiency and building science preferred
Bachelors Degree or comparable experience in engineering, environmental science or building science related disciplines is desired.
Excellent written and verbal communication
Strong analytical thinking and problem solving
Ability to work well independently and in a team setting
Local and regional travel is anticipated
Valid Drivers License
