Overview: Stantec Consulting Corporation, an engineering design and environmental consulting firm located in Denver, Colorado, is taking applicants to fill the position of Environmental Field Technician.
This is a full-time entry level position and a great start to a career in environmental consulting! Responsibilities: The majority of the Environmental Field Technician’s work will be field based at various sites around Colorado with the majority of sites being located in and around the Denver Metro area.
The specific duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Groundwater and soil vapor sample collection
- Recording accurate field measurements using specialized equipment
- Performing “operations and maintenance” activities on soil and groundwater remediation systems
- Daily travel to and from job sites along the front range with occasional overnight stays in locations outside the Denver Metro area. Qualifications: Applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree and be physically able to perform daily field activities in all types of weather conditions to qualify for the position.
A Bachelors degree in Engineering, Geology, Environmental Science, or a combination of the above is required to apply for this position.
