Western Pennsylvania Conservancy is seeking a highly motivated, experienced fundraiser. The Regional Development and Foundation Relations Officer will be responsible for managing ongoing identification, qualification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of assigned major gift donor prospects, focusing on regions outside the Pittsburgh metro area. The position will also work to coordinate and enhance foundation relationships for the organization. This position is based at 800 Waterfront Drive, Pittsburgh, PA, but requires significant travel, primarily in western and central PA. Must be flexible with schedule and able to work evenings and weekends, as required. Reports to the Director of Development. Bachelor's degree required. Minimum of four years successful fundraising experience; previous major gift, corporate, foundation, and/or campaign experience desirable. Sales, marketing and trust experience will be considered. The successful candidate will have an understanding of individual philanthropy, moves management and will have the ability to develop and execute appropriate strategies for successful donor solicitation. Strong organizational and time management skills are essential, coupled with excellent oral and written communication skills. We offer a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
