| Job Description: |
Buildings account for 40% of United States and global greenhouse gas emissions. While we have the tools to increase the energy efficiency of buildings, policy and building codes are not currently effective in much of the US and abroad. IMT is looking for a Program Manager to lead the Building Codes Program. The majority of the manager's time (60-100%) will be spent on building energy codes and the remainder on greening other building codes. Primary responsibilities and regular tasks * Manage IMT's building codes program, including planning, analysis, policy development, public presentations, and generation of reports for collaborators and funders Preferred education, experience and skills * Undergraduate or graduate degree in engineering, architecture, science, economics, business, law, policy, or fields relevant to energy efficiency, construction, buildings or real estate Salary is commensurate with experience.
