Job Description: 

The Student Conservation Association (SCA), the nation's leading conservation service organization for young people is seeking a part-time Office Manager for our growing office in Boise, ID. Hours will generally be 8:30 am - 2:00 pm, M - F with some flexibility and additional hours as needed. The Office Manager will be responsible for operational management and program support for the office, public events coordination and Conservation Teams projects as needed.

Responsibilities include:

* Manage the operations and infrastructure of SCA Boise including office space, furniture, kitchen, office supplies, telephone systems, regular and express mail (incoming and outgoing), printing supplies, and cleaning services
* Manage procurement, regular maintenance, and repair of office equipment
* Provide human resources support to SCA Boise managers and employees, including maintaining updated copies of all necessary forms and materials; provide orientation for all new employees on Human Resource standards, policies and benefits
* Monitor financial activities for the regional office, reporting any significant variances
* Supervise administrative interns, and/or office volunteers providing clerical support to SCA Boise and national staff (TBD)
* Assist in the creation of printed materials for marketing, recruiting, and public events, including press releases, flyers, posters, and displays
* Assist in the planning and implementation of SCA public events held in Boise
* Assist in implementation of trainings and other office-based activities - including arranging all logistics; compile pre-event materials and post-event evaluation results
* Monthly update all information on Conservation Corps website; assist in development and enhancement of SCA Conservation Corps website.

Qualifications:

* Associates degree with 2-4 years progressively responsible administrative support/management experience or 3+ year's successful office management experience
* Familiarity with non-profit or small business environment a plus
* Strong Computer skills including MS Office
* Strong organizational, communication and customer service skills. Public relations experience a plus
* Basic Html experience or willingness to learn
* Budgeting/fiscal management experience preferred
* Ability to multi-task, be flexible, take initiative
* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Valid driver's license & MVR that meets SCA standards.
