Net Impact, a global leader in the sustainable business movement, seeks an experienced, entrepreneurial, and ambitious Director of Development to provide leadership to its growing fundraising initiatives. Already raising $800,000 in gifts and grants annually towards an operating budget of $1.7 million, Net Impact's strong growth and growing global reputation require a professionalization and formalization of its already considerable charitable and philanthropic efforts. We seek a strategic thinker as well as accomplished and proven fundraiser who can implement a "best practice" development program in a dynamic and increasingly global membership-based organization. * To write and implement a detailed and measurable development plan in support of the organization's mission and strategic plan. Qualifications * Ability to be a persuasive development writer, including grant proposals, cases for support, appeal letters, etc. This is an exciting opportunity for a person committed to a career in development who wishes to tackle the full range of duties expected of a chief development officer and who desires to see both an immediate and a long term impact of his/her work in planning, managing, leading, and executing a development program.
