Overview: Our Transportation group provides comprehensive planning, design, and engineering services for all phases of airports and aviation, bridge, rail, roadway, and transit projects. Responsibilities: An opportunity exists for a Senior Structural Engineer to become part of a dynamic Transportation Structures group. The successful candidate will provide structural design, technical leadership, quality assurance reviews, and will provide expert structural engineering input and advice on a wide range of technical problems. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of the design of various transportation structures, obtained through a minimum of 10 years of post-graduation experience in a design position. Experience in design of reinforced concrete, structural steel, reinforced masonry and wood structures will be considered an asset. You are registered as a Professional Engineer within the State of Califronia and possess extensive knowledge of all relevant codes and standards. Your strong leadership, time management, project management, communication and team building skills are an asset for you to meet the demands of this challenging position. Experience with Caltrans structures is highly desireable. |
