Stantec's environmental remediation solutions help our clients address environmental liability.

Stantec's team of scientists, engineers, and geologists helps our clients reduce their environmental liabilities by developing and implementing comprehensive remediation programs. We provide integrated, multidisciplinary services to identify and assess liabilities and risks, and to develop solutions for site management, remediation, and mitigation. Our recent acquisition of Jacques Whitford AXYS Limited has expanded our services to include Geotechnical Engineering.

 

We are currently seeking a GeoEnvironmental Engineer/Technologist in our Regina office to provide geotechnical and remediation services to our clients.  This position will strengthen our environmental remediation services and expand our Saskatchewan Geotechnical capabilities.  

 

This role will provide specialized services such as geotechnical investigation, engineering and design, foundation recommendations, and construction testing and inspection services Our structure cultivates career growth and provides opportunities as unique as you are.



Responsibilities:

 

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 

  • Managing multiple projects.
  • Working on a variety of small to large projects spanning from residential, commercial and industrial developments as well as linear corridors.
  • Client management.
  • Preparation and review of geotechnical reports
  • Preparation and review of remediation reports.
  • Shallow and deep foundation design.
  • Slope stability assessments.


Qualifications:

Our ideal candidate would possess a:

  • Minimum of a Bachelor degree in Civil/Geotechnical Engineering from a recognized university and a post graduate degree in Geotechnical Engineering would be an asset.
  • Professional Engineer in good standing with APEGGS, or the ability to obtain the professional designation.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years experience in geotechnical consulting primarily in Western Canada.
  • Strong client management experience.
  • Innovation and enjoy working in a team environment.
