Job Description: 

PEM, a Bartlett Holdings Company is a leading provider of specialty maintenance services to the power generation industry. PEM has more than 13 years of experience with turbines and rotating equipment supporting nuclear, fossil, hydro and wind power markets.

We seek a Regional O&M Manager and business development oriented manager for our wind field services group. This position will report directly to the Vice President of Wind Services and be responsible for executing business development activities associated with the expansion and growth of PEM wind field services. Additional responsibilities will include new business lead generation, customer interface, proposal development, contract development and negotiation, technical support, customer service, and project management.

Responsibilities:

• Support multiple regional service support locations.
• Implement Corporate goals, objectives, policies, training and priorities for Wind O&M Division for warranty and post-warranty service.
• Hire, train, supervise multiple sites and staffs. Performance evaluations, multiple site management and mentor personnel.
• Develop staff certifications, including training programs, root cause analysis, career development, HS&E.
• P&L responsibility, budgets, inventory, sales projections and asset management.
• In-depth knowledge of project management, commissioning, LOTO and ISO 14001 standards.
• Act as point of contact for the identification and development of RFQ responses.
• Develop and execute new tactics for marketing PEMs' capabilities within the US market.
• Develop and manage pipeline for wind service leads, scope development, through conversion to executable orders.
• Perform technical support as requested to lead to new opportunities.
• Coordinate and schedule customer meetings and trade shows representation.
• Work with marketing to identify marketing trends and develop new marketing materials
• Travel to customer project sites and customers meetings (50% travel)
• Flexibility to support emergent roles as needed in a small organization

Requirements:

• Must have extensive experience in Site O&M Management
• Exceptional computer skills
• Proven experience with OEM warranty management and reporting
• Bachelors Degree in Engineering or related experience
• 2+ year of Wind service experience
• 5+ years direct services experience
• Electro-mechanical fundamentals: lubrication schedule, VRCC checks, pitch system calibration, yaw system, capacitors, thyristors, alignment/clearance inspections, plug-in service panel
• Knowledge of Ohm's law, series and parallel circuits, energy and power related to voltage and current.
• Ability to develop relationships with key clients
• Excellent communication skills, oral and written
• Must have a clear understanding of contracts, operating agreements, cost accounting, project management and proposal development
• Must have a clear understanding of wind field services programs
• High energy self starter
