Job Description: 

Overview:
Performs troubleshooting, replacement, repair and preventative maintenance of HVAC, VAV, electrical, plumbing and life safety systems. Operates HVAC and energy management systems. Perform water treatment testing. Perform Log/Tour/Watches. Assist with administrative, training and management functions. All tasks are to be completed at the jobsite to the appropriate customer, company or industry standards of excellence.

 

Responsibilities:
Perform troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance of electrical systems and components. Operate HVAC system. Perform major troubleshooting, replacement, repair, and preventative maintenance of HVAC. perform troubleshooting, replacement, repair and preventative maintenance of and operate energy management systems. Perform troubleshooting, replacement, repair and preventative maintenance of plumbing systems and life safety systems. Perform water treatment testing and system diagnostics. Perform and assist with the technical training of subordinates. Administrative functions. Perform Log/Watch/Tour. Utilize building design and construction techniques knowledge and blueprints up to and including roofing , windows, structural, facade systems, HVAC, electronic and plumbing systems, for building preventive maintenance and repair as needed. Assist Chief Building Engineer with his operational, supervisory, administrative, financial, training, logistical and life safety tasks. Comply with current environmental issues and concerns relating to IAA, outdoor storage tanks, lead, radon, asbestos, Legionnella, and any other as notified. Perform same duties as a Field Mechanci and Utility Technician if necesary. Other duties as assigned.
