Overview: Stantec's Environmental Management team, armed with scientific knowledge of air, water, and soil, creates sustainable solutions and addresses regulatory permitting and compliance for our clients. Our involvement on projects can extend from developing initial project concepts and environmental approvals to site decommissioning, remediation, and reclamation. Responsibilities: We're currently looking for a Biologist in our Bakersfield, CA office . Hours will fluctuate initially from 15 - 40 hours a week. As workload increases, we anticipate that this position will eventually become full-time and consistently work 40 hours a week.
Primary responsibilities involve conducting flora and fauna surveys for a variety of species.
Projects are located throughout California and the western U.S. Up to 50% travel is required. Qualifications:
